The decayed portion of the tooth is removed using appropriate dental instruments. The cavity is filled using dental fillings and the tooth is prepared to hold the crown. Some amount of the top surface of the tooth is removed in order to make space for bonding the crown. Impressions of prepared tooth are taken and a temporary acrylic crown is fabricated at our office.
